A 700-vendor toy convention, our LED wall, and 3D designer toys you could spray, rotate, and pocket as AR.

DesignerCon ran November 15–17, 2024 at The Expo at World Market Center in Las Vegas — three days, 300,000+ square feet, 700+ vendors at the heart of designer-toy and collectibles culture. We partnered with Trampt, who runs DesignerCon's official exclusives program, to bring the LED wall onto the show floor as a paintable layer over the collectibles themselves.

The collab turned licensed 3D models from OG Slick, Superplastics, Nouns and Marmals into paintable objects on the wall. Guests pulled up the menu — FIGURES, STICKERS, STENCILS, ROTATE — and tagged every surface, watching the piece wrap around sculptural form the way it would on a real-world vinyl. Same digital graffiti logic, applied in three dimensions.

Then the take-home: scan a QR code and drop the painted toy back onto the show floor as an AR object in their own pocket. AR layered another step on top — custom filters, branded overlays, animated characters reacting to whatever was on the wall. OG Slick, Woes, Ron the Killer, Goopmasta and Chris RWK all stepped up to the wall alongside people who'd never picked up a can. Both groups figured it out fast.
