A festival where serious writers paint the streets, a digital wall that had to hold up next to physical walls — and did.
We brought the Graffiti+ interactive wall to the 6th annual Outloud International Street Art Festival in Macau — December 4–8, 2024, anchored at Praça de Ponte e Horta in the Old District. Outloud is one of Asia's longstanding gatherings for writers, muralists and street culture, run by the Macao Old District Promotion Association and the Outloud Team.
Our wall — a 98″ LCD — ran in the lobby of the hotel that hosted the artists: Artime Joe (Korea), Christian Storm (Denmark, based in Korea) and Cook Dissizit (Japan). Writers and visitors crossed it all week. Grassroots event, real community.
Festival audiences came through and tried the wall after each artist demo. Zero barrier, full participation — and a piece on the can before they walked back into the festival.
Eighteen years. Six continents. One idea, done right.
For eighteen years, Graffiti+ has been putting real creative tools in people's hands — in public, at scale, and always with cultural integrity.
Born from the roots of graffiti culture and built for anyone willing to pick up a custom spray can, the platform transforms festival grounds into shared canvases where artists and audiences paint together in real time. From their home in Vancouver to projects across six continents, Graffiti+ has partnered with Outloud, Urban Break Seoul, JICAF Jakarta, Modelo, Nike and Samsung to bring authentic, participatory experiences to audiences everywhere.
If the wall earns its spot when serious writers are in the room, it earns its spot anywhere.
