A 5,000 sq ft immersive Midtown Manhattan space turned over to a 30-foot graffiti wall and a 16-foot LED with a writer painting all night.

SHiFT Midtown is a 5,000 sq ft immersive event space in the middle of Manhattan — built around 360° projection mapping, 7.1 surround sound, and concert-grade lighting. The venue is built to be reconfigured for every event. For this private party we configured it for graffiti: turned the venue's entire 30-foot main wall into a giant projection digital graffiti canvas running through SHiFT's projector array.

Out in the lobby, a 16-foot LED wall ran in parallel — our writer Seb painted massive pieces on it all night while guests cycled in and out of the main room. Two walls, two scales, one continuous moment. The main-room projection scaled up for impact, the lobby LED scaled down for one-on-one focus.

Few venues let you stretch the platform across this kind of square footage. SHiFT is one of them — and the night was a proof of how far the system scales when the space is built for it.
