NBA All-Star Weekend rolled into the Bay Area — and Jayson Tatum stepped up to a Jordan Brand wall that wrote his name back.
NBA All-Star Weekend 2025 took place across San Francisco and Oakland from February 13–16. Jordan Brand's flagship activation — "Unbannable Air" — lived inside Foot Locker's two-story NBA All-Star pop-up at 150 Powell Street in Union Square. We powered the interactive wall. Anthony Edwards, Jayson Tatum and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander rotated through the floor across the four days; Tatum stepped up to the wall and tagged it himself, with the LED carrying his name as he painted.
Fans grabbed custom spray cans and picked Air Jordan stencils and sticker packs from the menu. For the finish, their artwork projected onto a rotating 3D basketball — and then a 3D Jordan sneaker — built specifically for the activation, then took home via AR. The whole loop moved through three formats without breaking stride: wall, object, take-home.
The wall ran in the same room as the floor's other heat — Marshawn Lynch's Jordan Fam Fest, the women's Jordan Brooklyn boot drop, the Future Game at Nike SF nearby. See the deeper Foot Locker × Jordan Brand "Unbannable Air" pop-up story →
Eighteen years. Six continents. One idea, done right.
For eighteen years, Graffiti+ has been putting real creative tools in people's hands — in public, at scale, and always with cultural integrity.
Born from the roots of graffiti culture and built for anyone willing to pick up a custom spray can, the platform transforms brand activations into shared canvases where guests paint together in real time — even when an All-Star happens to walk up. From their home in Vancouver to projects across six continents, Graffiti+ has partnered with Nike, Jordan Brand, Foot Locker, Samsung, Louis Vuitton and Chanel to bring authentic, participatory experiences to audiences everywhere.
When an NBA All-Star steps up to the wall and signs it in spray, that's not the activation working — that's the activation winning.
